BIT PIQ

A wager on the next bitcoin block, reduced to four binary digits.

The page has four ones or zeros you can click or randomise, a countdown to the next block, and a visualisation of how large the pot is. For every block you pick a set of four digits. Depending on how many slips you buy, if you win you take that percentage of the pot, minus a service charge.

I like it because the interface is almost nothing. Four digits, a timer, a lock in button, a pot. There is no explaining to do.

Could we do this all on chain? It would be difficult purely in terms of transaction fees, but that would be the coolest way to do it. I'm not sure how the smart contract would work. The question is whether it's one contract that lots of people participate in, or lots of contracts with one wallet they pull from.

It's unclear. But it would be dope if it could all be done on chain.
