There is a pit of mindless entrainment that exists everywhere today. It’s an addiction which pulls in minds and then holds them tight. Like consumerism where the addict is constantly just looking for the next thing to buy the modern person spends most of their time look for the next thing that will entertain.
With modern cyber space every movie, tv show, and song is just a few clicks away. There is always more media to consume and more stuff to buy but no lasting joy or pleasure ever comes from it. It’s just a way to waste a little more time before you have to punch a clock again.
Beware the hole.
To be a master of your own time you must resist the pit.
